The Blue Licks Holiday Dinner and A Movie is taking place from 5-9:45 p.m. on Friday, December 19 at the Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park, 10299 Maysville Road, Carlisle, KY. Price is $10 per adult and $5 per child.

Bring the entire family out for a special Holiday Buffet at Hidden Waters Restaurant. After dinner, make a new memory for this year’s Christmas tree by making a hand-crafted ornament. Then grab a bag of popcorn and a big mug of hot chocolate and settle in for a screening of “The Polar Express.” Help Blue Licks begin a new holiday tradition with your family with good food, good memories, and a good movie! The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is taking place from 7-10 p.m. through December 23 at the Gateway Regional Arts Center, 101 East Main St., Sterling KY. Admission is $8 adults and $5 children. Lewis Apperson White Performance Hall.

New Years Eve Comedy in the Parks 2014 takes place starting at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 31 at Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park,10299 Maysville Road, Carlisle, KY. Join us for an evening of extravagant dining and comedy entertainment. After the performance, stick around for music from everyone’s favorite duo, The “Piano Doctor” Dave Stahl and saxophonist Freddie Helm! Bring in the New Year with the ones you love. We’ll have the dance floor in place and the large projection TV showing you what’s going on around the country when the clock strikes midnight.

This year’s entertainment will feature national headliner, Joe Deuce! Joe has been entertaining his whole life. At the age of 12 he began hosting several events as an MC and comedian. In college he began taking on roles as an actor as well as several spots as an MC for local talent shows and open mic nights. He has been featured at the Black Box Comedy Festival in Atlanta and has been on stage alongside some of the biggest names in comedy. Along with headliner Joe Deuce, special guest Kyle Kincaid will be opening the evenings entertainment!
